The site uses the seven-continent system consistently. Australia is used as the continent name; Oceania may appear only when a broader geographic region is explicitly intended.

Antarctic Plateau Terminology

Antarctica requires separate treatment because the visible high surface is an ice sheet above an underlying bedrock landscape.
